Laughing at the AI revolution: A commentary on ChatGPT

By MiddleMan

Well folks, it looks like the robots are comin' for our jobs! And not just any old robots, we're talkin' about the ChatGPT, the AI chatbot that's got Amazon, Google and all the bigwigs worried. They invested in it, they built it, but now they're scared of what it might do with all their sensitive data and coding.

And you know what's funny about it? Amazon is worried about its employees sharing code with ChatGPT, but the ChatGPT has already learned so much from being online, it got all the technical questions right during a fake interview for a coding position at Amazon. So who needs employees when you have an AI chatbot that can do the job just as well?

But here's the real joke, Amazon's already going through a series of layoffs due to the 40-year high inflation and the slowdown in growth. And they're not the only ones, Microsoft and Google are feeling the pinch too. So what's the future hold for us humans? Who knows, maybe we'll all be workin' for the ChatGPT one day!

The moral of the story, folks, is don't mess with mother nature... or in this case, the AI technology you created. You never know what it might learn and turn against you. Ha ha ha!"

Teachers on ChatGPT

Is ChatGPT Replacing Learning or Just Replacing Teachers?

By Hoopla

It looks like we're living in the future already but most people don’t see it! 89% of students are using ChatGPT for homework and it's causing some major concerns in the educational world.

Can you imagine? ChatGPT getting a B or a B- on an Ivy League MBA exam in operations management! And what's even more wild, this AI tool passed the medical licensing exam without any training or reinforcement!

It's like, who's teaching who here?! I mean, you have one professor asking ChatGPT to tweet in his voice, and another declaring it's the greatest cheating tool ever invented. And don't even get me started on the numbers - 48% of students using ChatGPT for a quiz, 53% for an essay, and 22% for an outline!

But wait, there's more! 72% of college students believe ChatGPT should be banned, but 5% of educators are using it to teach a class. It's like, what's the deal here people?!

But let's take a step back and think about the bigger picture - are we really outsourcing learning and education to AI? And if so, what does that mean for the future? Will ChatGPT become a crutch for our brains, leading to educational atrophy?

But hold on, we've heard these concerns before with the introduction of calculators in the classroom. And you know what? Research showed that calculators had no negative effect on basic math skills. So, you do the math, who knows, maybe ChatGPT will lead us to rediscover something old that's new again, just like Socrates said – “the key to learning is not in the acquisition of knowledge, but in asking questions”.

On the upside – at least you don’t have to go into a mountain of debt for a useless University edumacation anymore.

But until then, let's stock up on popcorn, sit back and enjoy the ride as we navigate this brave new world of ChatGPT in education.

Make Money with ChatGPT

Say Goodbye to Slow Responses with ChatGPT Pro - But Bring Your Wallet!

By Voice of Treason

Well, well, well, look what we have here! ChatGPT, the AI text generator that's been busy generating more text than War and Peace, is now offering a premium version for those who want to avoid the frustrating wait times. For just $42 a month, you can now get ChatGPT Pro! Faster response times, reliable access, and priority to new features. It's like getting a fast-track ticket to the front of the queue, but instead of Disney World, it's the world of AI text generation.

And why do we have to pay, you might ask? Because OpenAI has a lot of running costs, my friend. Hosting, upkeep, upgrades, updates, and satisfying investors, it's all adding up to an estimated $100,000 a day or $3 million a month! And let's not forget the GPU upgrades. They need to cover those too!

But don't worry, for the foreseeable future, ChatGPT will still be free. You can still query the chatbot, but be prepared for possible blackout times, throttling, query quotas, and slower responses. It's like being on a budget airline, with the occasional bumpy ride.

And for those who want to join the early access phase, good luck! It's by invitation only to a select group of users from the waitlist. And no one knows when it will officially launch, not even OpenAI. But one thing's for sure, the demand couldn't be higher.

So, there you have it, folks. ChatGPT Pro, the premium version of the AI text generator that's making it rain, AI-style.
